Year 2 Exit Point
We visited Ms Katie's Year 2 class to see what they had learned about electricity this term. We enjoyed doing some experiments with static electricity and circuits.

Caring for our environment
After our beach trip, we sorted the items that we had found and realised that there were some items that did not belong on the beach. We spoke about how they had got on the beach and learned that it is people that pollute the environment. We spoke about being careful to put our litter in a bin or carry it off the beach if there is no bin. We also found out that we had picked up 3 shells that we thought were empty, but, in fact, contained 3 little hermit crabs. Fortunately, they had survived and Ms Jacqueline returned them to the beach. We have learned to be more careful about what we take from the beach :-)

Our Beach Trip
We spent a lovely time on the beach this morning, listening to the waves, looking at the water meeting the sand, picking up shells and other objects and watching the crabs and hermit crabs.

Welcome!
We'll be seeing double on Monday when Stephen (l) and Samuel (r) join our Reception class. We welcome them and their family to the Tenby family!

Sand and Water Entry Point
We had such fun playing with sand and water during the entry point to our new topic. We enjoyed digging in the sand, making sand sculptures using moulds, blowing bubbles, floating ships on the water, pouring water and washing the babies.We also cleaned some aprons and hung them on the line. We can't wait to go to the beach next week and explore the seashore.
